Art by Bill Horan, an international online solo painting exhibition by William Horan, opens on July 15 and will continue through August 15, 2022.
William Horan, consider his art to be a potpourri. It covers a wide variety of subjects, including depictions of dreams and nightmares, as well as recreations of images that could be jarring or eerily beautiful. While incorporating a style heavily influenced by artists such as Francis Bacon and Egon Schiele, he strives to convey each visual with striking colors and strong brush strokes that are appealing to the eye. Pieces in this exhibition are dictated by intense feelings and emotions, constitute a random collection that will potentially connect with a wide variety of individuals, whether it be through certain thematic elements contained in a realistic composition or a particular color scheme or mood attached to one of his more surreal or abstract creations.

Artist:
Born and raised on Long Island, William Horan is an emerging artist, chiefly employing the use of oils and acrylics to express a truly unique vision.
After bouncing around between jobs and trying to find his place in society, William found a true passion in art. Struggling with many internal demons, he began painting for therapeutic reasons years ago and has not been able to put down the brush since, constantly thinking up and working on new projects.
