The 2022 edition of our 3 Days for ArtCan could showcase the past year’s exhibitions, membership growth, sales and other less-tangible achievements. That would be appropriate, too, because last year saw remarkable growth, a record number of shows and lots of great conversations and valuable experiences.
But, in ArtCan director Kate Enters’ words, “This year, ‘3 Days’ feels like a moment to touch down briefly for some recognition of the business structure and of what happens behind the scenes, before pushing off for more momentum in the coming year.”

Photographer Colin Hutton’s new London exhibition celebrates the much loved technology of the past.
Audio cassette tapes, VHS, polaroid, 35mm film and vinyl were the defining forms of creativity and technology that collectively recorded and shaped our cultural experiences. Hutton decided to source and use these materials to create a series of unique headpieces reflective of particular moments in time and shot the series using today’s digital technology.

Beginning November 13, the public may view the group exhibition during the gallery’s normal business hours. (Tuesday – Friday: 11 am – 6 pm and Saturday 10 am – 6 pm.) A public opening reception will be held at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles on November 13 from 3 to 7 pm. The exhibited olive wood objects will be sold via an online fundraising auction.
